Why is my profile constantly disappearing?
If you have not logged in for more than 30 days, your account will be deleted automatically. We only keep the details of active users. After that, they are permanently deleted. You may have tried to log in previously using POF, but it is possible that another user with the exact same username has attempted to log in from a different computer/location. They could also be using an alternate email address and their exact username. We may have also deleted your account due to suspicious activity (e.g. Someone trying to log into your account as you, or for violating our terms and conditions (e.g. posting offensive images
What’s the problem with my login?
Forgot your email address? Contact us by clicking the “Report Problem” link on any page that has an @po.st hyperlink. Please let us know if you would like it retrieved. However, you may need to call us from the original registered phone number. Please include this information. Contact Customer Support if you’re unsure if your POF profile was deleted by us. They will be able to confirm it within 48 hours.
What happens if my account is deleted?

How can I add a photo?
Upload one from your computer, or select one from Facebook and LinkedIn by clicking on the profile image and scrolling through the options below. You can also upload a photo from our database that you do not have linked to your account, such as a photograph of your child. If you forget to log out before visiting other sites, you can select this option in the “Change Profile Picture” section. It will be immediately added.

Yes, click on your username and select ‘Edit details’. You can change your name, and address, and even delete your account if you want. You can log in by entering your email address. What is The Gallery?
You can view other users’ photos and send them messages. To visit the Gallery, click on “Gallery” from your menu bar. Here you can sort through profiles using various search tools. You can also create your own gallery by uploading photos and sending invitations to people you are interested in meeting up.
Why is my profile not in The Gallery?
Simply go to your account settings and select “Photo Settings” to list your profile in the Gallery. There are two options available for how photos will be displayed: AUTO-ADJUSTED and FIXED. The first option will automatically crop or resize uploaded images for maximum visibility. If you select the second, images will be kept at their original size but may need scrolling. Click on the image and use your arrow keys (to scroll left/right).
We will display all images in your profile using the first option if you don’t choose one. You can choose from both, but it is up to you to decide which one looks best. This will not affect your ability to view other profiles.
Why does my gallery appear in the galleries of other users, but not mine?
In this situation, another member has selected “No Photos Allowed” in their photo settings. If this option is selected for your gallery, then only members with no photos can view it (ie. This is based on the principle that reciprocity, which means they see what they can’t see and vice versa. The Gallery is not open to the public if someone has not listed their gallery.
What are Superlikes?
Super likes, which are special lighters that appear next to your profile when someone views it, indicate that they really like you. Although there is no limit to how many Superlikes a user can give, each user may only receive one every day. How can I block/report/remove users from my Inbox/Gallery/Gallery/Inbox?
Recent updates have made it impossible to report inappropriate comments on your profile. Any unwanted messages should be reported within The Gallery. You can block any individual from sending you future messages if you’re a paid subscriber. To do this, go to your account settings and select ‘Messaging Options’. Any blocked users will be marked with an asterisk beside their names. Please save your changes!
What’s included in my POF Premium subscription
All premium subscriptions include access to The Gallery, which allows members to interactively display photos of other members and allows for instant messaging based upon individual profile ratings. Paid members have unlimited Superlikes (ten per day for those who are not subscribers) and Passport, which shows accurate location data to anyone logged into Facebook or Google+. How can I search The Gallery?
To find a member, you can either use a keyword (as it appears below) or type one. Click on the profile name to see other photos. You can also use ‘wildcard’ searches such as ‘Isl* to find all members whose names include Islay. Islands, Isles, Isles, etc… You can also search based on multiple factors such as age, comment, distance and mutual friends. For example, you could combine keywords like “male 26 lives nearby me likes whisky” with other keywords. For more advanced search options, you can also visit our homepage.
